Awaken
your senses this summer at Constantia Glen, the beautiful boutique wine estate situated
only 20 minutes from the Cape Town city centre. With extended opening hours and
new taste partners added to their popular selection of platters, summer at
Constantia Glen is sure to be a feast.
In
addition to their sought-after platters of artisanal cheese and charcuterie, guests
can look forward to three new items on the menu for summer. Indulge in a roasted
beetroot, goats cheese and walnut salad; an open sandwich with oak-smoked trout
ribbons, cream cheese and cucumber pickle or a generous antipasto platter ideal
for sharing. Each of these can be perfectly paired with one of Constantia
Glen’s cool climate wines for a sensory summer taste experience.
Whether
you prefer to kick start your day early, enjoy a laid back lunch or watch the
sun set over outstretched vineyards, the Constantia Glen tasting room is the
perfect setting – open until 20h00 daily from 15 November onwards for this
festive season.
The
beetroot and goats cheese salad and oak-smoked trout open sandwich are available
at the tasting room at R95 each. The antipasto platter for two is R300 and wines are available by the glass from R50.
Known
for exceptional cool climate Bordeaux-style red and white wines, Constantia
Glen is open seven days a week from 10h00 till 20h00 for the festive season.
