95 at Morgenster reopens in the Winelands for the summer season

Savour the best in modern Italian fare in the Cape Winelands this summer at master chef Giorgio Nava’s 95 At Morgenster, reopening for the season from 3 November.

An Italian collaboration of contemporary Italian dishes with top class wines and olive oil, 95 At Morgenster first opened its doors in the magnificent natural surroundings of Morgenster Wine Estate in Somerset West in 2015.

Nava, whose original 95 Keerom has been the bastion of world class Italian dining in Cape Town for the past 14 years, has had a busy winter taking his award winning recipe to Constantia, opening his third restaurant in the 95 Collection – 95 at Parks.

Known for uncompromising quality and perfectly prepared dishes with the utmost respect for quality ingredients, his Milanese flair is evident on every plate. The result is delicious, honest food that lets all the ingredients speak for themselves in true Italian minimalist fashion. Think classic caprese with creamy artisanal burrata mozzarella, hand cut salmon or steak tartare, delicate slivers of carpaccio, velvet textured hand-made pasta, beautifully prepared line fish, and a fine selection of prime cuts. His legendary chocolate lava fondant or hand crafted ice cream are just some of the tempting treasures that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. The 95 At Morgenster mixologist has also been working on refreshing new summer cocktail surprises from the bar.
