Following its recent transition in the Oude Bank building, one of Stellenbosch’s first banks, the shop’s interior, seasonal menus and passionate staff – whom all are from surrounding regions – tell a story of hard work, team support and community development.
On arriving at Boschendal at Oude Bank, you'll be welcomed by the building's fascinating, original scaffolding decorated by the range of innovative offerings at selected areas inside the establishment. Think guided wine tastings at the tasting area (tastings of the 'winery of the week' are on the house), a fresh produce section kitted with organic greens, free-range eggs and poultry, homemade condiments, juices, and 100% grass-fed red meat, plus a flower counter next to the on-site bakery, as well as bistro bar and beer taps across the floor.
