Hillcrest Restaurant Private Launch
16:16:00There was a fantastic vibe on Friday night at Hillcrest Restaurant on the outskirts of Durbanville where guests were entertained with some live music by Wayne Pauli, Dale Collins & Andrew Siebert.
Under new management, the restaurant launched their new menu with some mouth-watering pizzas from their one-of-a-kind, revolving base, wood fired pizza oven! On the new menu is also a range of burgers and steaks as well as some of the old favourites like the Pulled Pork Sliders and the best-ever creamy Chicken Pie!
Hillcrest Wines and Havoc Craft Beer were also available for sampling and tasting. The friendly bar attendant convinced me to taste a sample of each one of the Havoc Craft Beers that were available on tap! I also enjoyed the Malbec and Petit Verdot from the Saartjie Single Vineyard Range.
The restaurant also has a brand new deck with a great view of Cape Town. There is a tented roof on the deck and gas heaters are in place for those cold Cape winter days. This will be perfect if the restaurant is going to be open in the evenings in the distant future.
