Bruce Jack, one of South Africa’s iconic innovators and global pioneer, has many winemaking ventures under his belt. But it is the art that contributes the X factor that sets some wines apart,” says Bruce.
The American poet, Theodore Roethke, said: ‘Art is the means we have of undoing the damage of haste. It’s what everything else isn’t.’ “I love this quote,” continues Bruce. “In our world of rushed irrelevance, we seem to have lost the ability to just be comfortable in the now, in the present.”
There Are Still Mysteries Single Vineyard Pinot Noir. “I love Pinot Noir. It transcends the obvious and the easy. Like life, however, it can sometimes seem unforgiving, unfair and unfathomable. But, when this grape shines, what lies beneath the layers of aroma and flavour can be so moving one instantly becomes a believer again.”
