Feed That Bird Communication Consultants has expanded its client list with the addition of Stellenbosch Wine Routes to its portfolio.

Stellenbosch Wine Routes announced a new executive last year, chaired by Michael (Mike) Ratcliffe, and it has embarked on a supercharged strategy to ensure the ongoing growth of this popular wine route.

In its capacity as the route’s PR partner of choice, Feed That Bird will be instrumental in ensuring the route’s newly invigorated energy is channelled along the right digital and PR channels.

Stellenbosch was the first wine region in South Africa to establish a wine route as an organised network of wineries; it is home to some of South Africa’s finest wine properties and is still the playground for many of South Africa’s wine legends. The route is also known for its beautiful scenery, award-winning restaurants and remarkable visitor experiences.

Jeanri-Tine van Zyl, Director at Feed That Bird commented: “My team and I are exceptionally proud to be providing our expertise in the marketing of such a huge tourist attraction. The new Stellenbosch Wine Routes executive has creative energy which complements ours, and we are especially excited to support the social change Stellenbosch Wine Routes stands for.”

Feed That Bird was elected the PR partner of choice after a competitive search and pitch process. Says Ratcliffe: “Feed That Bird impressed us with their blue sky and strategic thinking. Their creativity is backed with solid recommendations from respected players in the industry and we have no doubt that this young and dynamic team has the energy to run with Stellenbosch Wine Routes and the exciting projects we have planned in 2019.”
