The Red Table restaurant, located in the historic manor house, will be dishing up a feast of full-blown flavour. Indulge in starters like lentil samoosas served with date chutney; green bean, avocado and bocconcini baby leaf salad topped with poached egg, toasted almonds and light lemon dressing; and slaphakskeentjie tarte tatin with chevin cream.

Mains on offer include biltong-crusted beef fillet with potato boulangère, flashed garden vegetables and chimichurri sauce; pork belly with braised red cabbage and green apple with sweet potato croquettes; and grilled duck breast with carrot and potato puree, broccoli and apricot citrus jus; amongst other delicious à la carte menu options.

Desserts will be utterly delectable - expect treats such as chocolate fondant served with vanilla ice cream, and baked cheesecake with berry compote. To learn more about Nederburg and its rich history, book an informative guided tour of the state-of-the art cellar and other points of interest, such as the manor house and Old Cellar Museum that tells the Nederburg story in wonderful artefacts and pictures. Foreign language guides could be arranged by prior appointment. All cellar tours need to be pre-booked by contacting Nederburg.
Reservations for meals at The Red Table as well as for offerings at the Visitors’ Centre are advised to avoid disappointment.
