The well-known chef has infused a traditional fruitcake recipe with KWV brandy for a sweet treat that will have your guests begging for more.

According to Mynhardt, the secret to their fruitcakes are that they bake them with love. “We constantly keep in mind the deserving people who will benefit from each and every cake sale. It’s an absolute highlight of our year and the perfect opportunity to reflect on the year passed. A recipe only becomes something truly special when you pour your heart and soul into it.” This year’s beneficiary is Monte Christo Miqlat, a non-profit organization from Paarl that empowers impoverished families through holistic sustainable development programmes.
