Nederburg Unlocks its Vault Of Vintage Treasures
20:29:00Following the success of its “Vintage Vault Wine Sale” in August, Nederburg is again inviting wine lovers to visit its farm in Paarl again, to personally choose and purchase from an exciting selection of rare vintage and limited-release wines.
The second edition takes place on 1 and 2 November.
“This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on some exceptional vintages of Nederburg, including a few vertical and horizontal offerings, at very fair prices – a perfect chance for wine drinkers and connoisseurs to add an integral part of South African wine heritage to their private collections,” said NiĆ«l Groenewald, managing director of Nederburg.
Highlighting the remarkable longevity of Nederburg wines and the equally appealing collectability of its newer vintages, the selection totals 57 iconic wines, from the award-winning Private Bin, Two Centuries, Heritage Heroes, Ingenuity and The Winemasters collections.
Own ten vintages of Nederburg’s Ingenuity White (a blend of eight white wine cultivars), spanning 2007 to 2016, seven of which rated five stars by Platter’s South African Wine Guide.
Or add the debut vintages of the Heritage Heroes wines to your wine collection. These wines are all individually named to honour some iconic personalities who have played their part in shaping Nederburg’s pedigree as one of South Africa’s most admired wineries.
The oldest Nederburg wine to feature is the 2006 vintage of its very exclusive Private Bin R163 Cabernet Sauvignon.
You will get to taste the majority of the wines on offer before purchase.
