The Cape of Good Hope range, which forms part of the Anthonij Rupert Wyne portfolio, is a celebration of old vines and the spectacular wines they produce, and heralds the Cape’s rich viticultural heritage.

In recognition of this range all chefs – irrespective of level of experience – are invited to take part in the Cape of Good Hope Photography Competition. An opportunity to showcase one’s talents on the plate and behind the lens.

The brief is to create an authentic South African recipe which reflects our country’s culinary heritage. Photograph the finished dish and publish it on Instagram before 30 April 2020. Remember to include the #CapeofGoodHopeWine as well as #ProudHeritage and tag @anthonijrupertwyne to stand the chance of winning the grand prize.

Once all the entries have been received and judged, two winners will be announced in the Professional and Non-Professional categories, respectively. The prize for each winner and a partner comprises an all-inclusive Altima Truffle Experience - this exclusive package includes a truffle hunt and wine tasting of the wines produced from the Cape of Good Hope Altima wines, guided transport to and from the Altima Estate, and a sumptuous four-course truffle-inspired meal paired with wines from the Cape of Good Hope range. Completing this grand prize is an overnight stay at the spectacular Anthonij Rupert Estate in Franschhoek. Should the winning recipient(s) reside outside of the Western Cape, flights to and from Cape Town will also be included.
