There’s something on offer for everyone at Nederburg in Paarl, this April!

Make the most of gorgeous autumn days by visiting its beautiful eatery, The Manor, situated in the iconic manor house that dates to 1800. The restaurant spills out onto the manor house terrace and sprawling gardens, set against the backdrop of vineyards and the towering Drakenstein Mountains.

EASTER

When the Easter long weekend comes around in early April (excluding Easter Friday on 2 April), The Manor will be delighting visitors with freshly-baked hot-cross buns and homemade pickled fish that’s an absolute treat with Nederburg’s Heritage Heroes The Anchorman Chenin Blanc 2018.

It will also be staging a fun daily Easter egg hunt for the kids on the lush lawn right in front of the manor house, at 11:00 on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the long weekend.

RESTAURANT WEEK XXL

The Manor will be participating in Restaurant Week XXL, scheduled to run between 1 April and 2 May. This means you’ll get the chance to enjoy a scrumptious two- or three-course meal for a fraction of the normal cost. The three-course menu, including a glass of wine per course, is offered at R360 per person, while the two-course, also featuring a glass of wine per course, costs R260 per head. It’s on offer on weekdays only, excluding Tuesdays when The Manor is closed.

The starter is a choice between cured tuna, corn salsa, melba toast, guacamole, soya and balsamic glaze; and quinoa, chick peas, herbed goat’s chevin, tempura leeks and capsicum purée (vegetarian). When it comes to the main course, select between delicious oven roasted beef fillet served with glazed baby vegetables, smoked mash and a green pepper corn just; or citrus sous vide kingklip, squid tubes, broccoli florets, charred spring onions and lemon zest butter; or sesame grilled tofu, buttered asparagus, cauliflower rice and baba ghanoush (vegetarian). Enjoy dark chocolate fondant with beetroot ice cream and a brandy snap for dessert.

Restaurant Week XXL reservations open on Friday, 26 March. Bookings need to be made via www.restaurantweek.co.za/access/nederburg.
