Ideally situated just a stone’s throw away from the N1 and one hour away from Cape Town, lies the hidden gem of the beautiful Slanghoek Valley. It is here where the Slanghoek Mountain Resort boasts spectacular views, lush foliage, a selection of accommodation and venue possibilities, each with its own unique attributes, friendly staff and an experience to remember for each and all.

Operating since 2002, the resort has been an oasis for many, ideally located near some of the winelands finest wine farms as well as scenic hiking and MTB trails.

The owners are in the process of adding to their accommodation with the addition of six luxury mountain cottages. The cottages boast spectacular views of the valley and mountains, and have been named after the pear cultivars grown on the farm - Celina, Packham, Rosemarie, Bon Chretien, Cheeky and Forelle. Each self-catering unit can comfortably accommodate four people (one main bedroom with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom, and the second room has twin beds with a separated bathroom). The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for whipping up a hearty meal whilst admiring the views. A braai area adds extra charm, and the wood fired hot tub is the ultimate treat.

With panoramic views of the valley from the comfort of the lounge or the hot tub you will be forgiven for not wanting to go anywhere else during your stay. What better way to reset and rejuvenate.

To celebrate the launch of these beautiful mountain cottages, guests booking and paying before 31 August 2021 will qualify for a 15% discount. Although payment must be made before end August 2021 to redeem the discount, bookings can be made until 15 December 2021.
