1.    Award-winning wines

Home of one of South Africa’s best-loved and most admired heritage wineries. Taste and purchase a selection of familiar favourites, some new offerings, like Double Barrel Reserve, as well as exclusive releases like Private Bin Two Centuries Cabernet Sauvignon.

2.    Vintage tastings

A rare opportunity to taste and discover some exquisite wines that have stood the test of time and can mature for even longer (if cellared under suitable conditions). Presented by a wine ambassador. Pre-booking essential.

3.    Flavourful, seasonal food

Nothing says summer celebrations quite like a glass of something deliciously sparkling and some fresh, briny oysters. Try The Manor’s exquisite tasting of three oysters, each dressed to impress and exquisitely paired with two bubblies and a bubbly cocktail. Pre-booking advised.

7.    Five Senses Wine & Food Experience

Taste your way through a three-course canapé-style food and wine pairing, first blind-folded, and then sighted, with the second and third courses presented not only unseen, but also with the addition of evocative sounds. Devised to indulge your senses, challenge your perception of flavour and enhance your imagination. Presented at 11:00 and 15:00 every day except Tuesdays. Pre-booking essential. 


8.    Summer Sunset Stoep Sessions

Wine down with The Manor’s weekly sunset stoep sessions every Friday during summer. Take in the relaxing sounds of popular live music while savouring some fine wines, and watch the sun set over the majestic mountains and lush vines. Wide range of sharing plates available. Pre-booking advised.

9.    Steak Thursdays

Bringing you lip-smacking aged beef ribeye steak, seamlessly matched with Nederburg’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Edelrood red blend. Served with red wine onion jus, salted potato wedges and chimichurri roasted baby root vegetables, with creamed peppercorn or forest mushroom sauce as an optional extra. Every Thursday (lunch and dinner).

10. Entertainment galore for children

Scouting for fun ways to entertain the kids? The Manor has you covered with a delightful kids’ menu and a sweet treat and flavoured milk pairing, kiddies’ picnic boxes, lawn games, jungle gyms and zip-lines, a tree house, swings and more! Beautifully gabled and finely proportioned, Nederburg’s manor house, completed in 1800, is an iconic venue. To enter the peaceful tranquillity of the thatched-roofed, white-washed, H-shaped historic manor house is to experience a distillation of life lived over 200 years ago. After more than a decade in Stellenbosch, the hugely popular Slow Market is relocating to Nederburg this summer! This proudly Boland market will be open on weekends and the occasional Friday evening. Expect scrumptious food, fine wine and other drinks, design stalls, entertainment, live music and a dedicated kids’ area.

Summer Sunset Stoep Sessions (only Fridays): 16:30 to 19:00
