The Malan family is delighted to announce the much-anticipated Annual Vintage Day, hosted by Simonsig Estate. The event will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023, and promises an extraordinary experience for wine lovers and connoisseurs alike.
Vintage Day is an annual celebration that offers attendees a unique opportunity to engage with the estate’s renowned winemakers and indulge in the finest selection of Simonsig's distinguished vintage wines, including Cap Classique, red, and white wines. With meticulous attention to detail, the winemakers have handpicked the best vintages at the peak of maturation to be showcased exclusively at the event.
Doors - and bottles - will open at 11 am, granting visitors access to an array of wine tastings and immersive experiences. Tickets for Vintage Day can be purchased in advance through Plankton.mobi or at the door. Ticket options range from R395 (wine tasting only) to R595 (wine tasting and food) per person. Each ticket also includes a complimentary crystal wine glass as a souvenir.
In addition to the wine tasting experience, Vintage Day offers guests the opportunity to purchase the showcased wines at an event-exclusive price. Whether attending the event or not, wine enthusiasts can mark their calendars for July 29, as a selection of special vintages will be available for purchase on the Simonsig website (www.simonsig.co.za) until August 7, 2023, while supplies last.
The Annual Vintage Day is a celebration of winemaking excellence and a testament to Simonsig's rich history and dedication to producing exceptional wines. This event is not-to-be-missed, as it provides an unparalleled experience for wine enthusiasts and an immersive journey into the world of fine wines.
