Bonnievale Wines has released an exciting new addition to its NEAT range of de-alcoholised wines.

The all-new Bonnievale NEAT Shiraz 2020 joins a Sauvignon Blanc, giving wine-lovers a delicious alternative in the run-up to the festive season.

“Summer is a time for socialising, even if we’re doing it at a distance, and occasionally you might want to tone it down. The NEAT range of red and white wine makes it possible, without having to compromise on quality and enjoyment,” says Bonnievale Wines marketing general manager Carlen Wahl.

NEAT has been so well-received that soon after launch, the Sauvignon Blanc rocketed to summer’s best-seller on DrinkNil.co.za, a leading online retailer of alcohol-free drinks.

The wines contain less than 0,05% alcohol, meaning lower in calories, while remaining true to each respective grape variety and vintage. As is the practice in the making of all red wines, the NEAT Shiraz underwent a period of maturation that allows optimal development of the wine’s aromas and flavours.

NEAT Shiraz offers all the quality and flavour you expect but with almost no alcohol. The 2020 vintage radiates berries, violets, and a hint of white pepper, and crescendos with red fruit and delectable spice. It is juicy and mouth-watering, and great when paired with fine food or enjoyed by itself.
The Bonnievale NEAT Sauvignon Blanc, whose 2021 vintage was released earlier this year, exudes fantastic aromas of passion fruit, guava, and gooseberries. The palate is all-encompassing, fresh and refreshing, echoing the fruit all the way to the finish.

Bonnievale NEAT Shiraz 2020 sells for R75 per bottle; and, Bonnievale NEAT Sauvignon Blanc 2021, for R65 per bottle. They may be ordered directly from the Bonnievale online shop at www.bonnievalewines.co.za.
